The site narrates the saga of a mother agonizing for his lost son. Julie Balay, Chase\u2019s mother wrote,<\/p>\n

\u201cThe scars remain but there are no open wounds and its dense green leaves show me it\u2019s actually thriving. The way it now leans invites children to climb and explore its grandeur and smile. It\u2019s imperfections are now its allure.<\/p>\n

It will never be perfectly round again or stand up straight like its neighbors. But it\u2019s alive. And its flaws are now what make it interesting and even inviting\u201d.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

It also gives the reader some vivid walk to the life of Chase.<\/p>\n

\u201cAll children are special. I love talking to them and listening to their funny conversations and hearing their obscure yet pensive questions. They are each a gift and make this world a much much better place. Chase, like all children, was special. But he was also a different kind of special. I knew that from the start yet as his mother I always thought, \u201cEverybody thinks their kid is special. I am just biased.\u201d But over the years even when Chase was well, people who met him always had a \u201cChase story\u201d for me and told me how special THEY thought he was.\u00a0 More and more I knew it was not just my motherly bias at work\u2026he was \u201cthat kid\u201d. The kid people remembered. I share this account below from a teacher at Chase\u2019s school who didn\u2019t have Chase as her student.\u00a0 A story I had never heard until after he died\u201d.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
