Born on March 18th, 1999\u2026from the minute Hannah was born, it seemed as though she had a job to do\u2026curious from her first moments, she didn\u2019t sleep much, always much too interested in what was going on around her.\u00a0 Her curiosity and zest for life from a very young age was incredible.\u00a0 She was a crazy kid\u2026loved getting dirty, always outside riding her bike & skateboard, climbing trees, and building forts\u2026a tomboy for sure!\u00a0 And as she grew from a young child to a beautiful teenager, that spirit never left her.<\/p>\n

Hannah was an incredible young woman\u2026she was funny, wicked smart, a gifted athlete, a fiercely loyal friend, and the BEST big sister to her beloved little brother Robbie.<\/p>\n

Hannah passed away on September 26, 2013, at the age of 14, following a year-long battle with brain cancer.\u00a0 But, she never let cancer define her, and was determined to live her best life, for however long that may have been.\u00a0 Two weeks after brain surgery, not only was she back on the soccer field, but she scored the winning goal in double overtime for her middle school team.<\/p>\n

It was at that moment she showed the world that no matter what life throws at you, give it your best and\u00a0NEVER EVER GIVE UP<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Hannah\u2019s spontaneous nature, kind soul and contagious laugh are what is missed most.\u00a0 Her spirit and her positive attitude in the worst of times have brought out the best in so many people.<\/p>\n

On the night Hannah died, \u00a0I said these words\u2026\u201dlive with no regrets, love with compassion, be kind, and never ever give up that fighting spirit\u201d\u2026 If you live those simple words, you will honor our beautiful Hannah because that is how she lived her life\u2026<\/p>\n

Her greatest wish was to be remembered, \u00a0and at 14 years old, \u00a0she IS being remembered\u2026not for how she died, but because of how she lived.<\/p>\n
